Position Overview
Job Title: Transportation Carrier Specialist
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Work Location: Nashville, TN
Shift Schedule: Shifts vary Sunday – Saturday 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate on programs, metrics, reports, and dashboards to support business decisions
Identify and resolve escalations within carrier network
Pull and analyze data using Excel, Access, and SQL
Operate within SIM queues to address driver and carrier issues
Communicate effectively via Slack (internal) and email (external)
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
SIM ticket resolution
Parking and routing accuracy
Carrier communications and overall performance
Requirements & Skills Must-Haves:
1–3 years' experience in ticketing, transportation, customer service
Entry-level proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Operational focus (no phone work required)
High school diploma
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with logistics, SIM, intermodal, carrier management, supply chain
Data analysis and customer service exposure
Flexibility in work schedule
