WisEngineering, LLC is excited to announce an immediate opening for a talented Full Stack Software Developer with a strong DevOps focus. Join us in supporting critical Department of Defense programs at Picatinny Arsenal, located in Dover, NJ. Only candidates who are U.S. Citizens and able to obtain a security clearance will be considered. This position requires full-time on-site work at the Picatinny Arsenal; remote work is not an option.
As a Full Stack Software Developer at WisEngineering, you will play a vital role in helping to design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable software applications for government systems. This is a hands-on development position perfect for those who have a solid foundation in full stack development and a passion for DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), containerization, and cloud infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications on-site.
Design, develop, test, and document front-end (React, JavaScript/TypeScript) and back-end (Node.js, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL) application components.
Contribute to the development of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to testing, deployment, and system integration.
Participate in formal software testing and certification activities.
Prepare and maintain thorough technical documentation.
Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and system integration testing (SIT).
Utilize Agile project management tools like Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, and collaborate with GitLab for version control.
Communicate effectively using structured ticketing systems and Microsoft Teams.

JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Microsoft Teams Preferred Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience as a full stack developer. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps). Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM templates). Cloud experience, particularly with Microsoft Azure, is a plus. Strong understanding of software development best practices in Agile environments. A proactive approach to work with developers, QA, and IT operations staff to streamline processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required). U.S. Citizenship is mandatory. Willingness to work full-time on-site.
