Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops strategy by conducting market research and reviewing industry wide changes for engaging provider populations with quality programs while ensuring existing provider engagement programs are aligned with external incentive programs.

Oversees the day-to-day operations needed to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of HQIP outcomes to internal staff and external Healthfirst providers.

Develops and delivers presentations for varying levels of staff up to and including C-suite executives with the end goal of securing buy-in on strategy or operational decisions

Designs and executes the Healthfirst Quality Incentive Program (HQIP) and other quality incentive programs.

Summarizes analytical findings and trends with recommendations for business decisions. Informs the development of all quality incentive program parameters, including what outcomes providers need to meet or exceed for quality bonuses and how much providers will earn through quality bonuses.

Manages budgeting and forecasting process with Enterprise Analytics.

Manages the development of program specific communications to providers and internal and external stakeholders. Collaborates with Marketing and Corporate Communications to develop materials that support quality incentive programming. Writes communications (e.g. emails, memos, brochures, FAQs) targeting providers, senior level hospital administrators and Healthfirst staff.

Develops and facilitates trainings that support the roll-out of quality incentive programming to Healthfirst staff and external Providers

Ensures that HQIP and other quality incentive program participants are paid accurately and on-time at the end of each program period.

Oversees the development and improvement of reporting tools that make accurate, time-sensitive data available to staff and Healthfirst providers. Collaborates with the team to address/fix short-term data validation issues that impede on-time, accurate reporting. Works with Enterprise Analytics and Information Systems team members to adjust and update their analyses or reporting, as needed.

Oversees the production of standard reports and ad-hoc requests related to HQIP quality data and performance (e.g. Network percentiles, top and bottom performer lists, etc).

Manages the work of indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Experience presenting to large cross-functional teams including C-suite or executive leaders

Proficiency in Microsoft Office daily use of Outlook, the ability to complete mail merge documents and memos in Word, the ability to set up pivot tables and VLOOKUP formulas in Excel, the ability to create polished Power Point with charts and graphs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Public Health or Business Administration from an accredited institution

Experience working with a hospital, health insurance company or healthcare focused government agency or non-profit (e.g. DOH).

Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization Tools (such as Qlikview, Tableau).

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage up and across multiple departments of a large organization.

Supervisory or team lead experience. Ability to lead a team of 1-3 individuals of different functions and skills sets.

Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changes quickly while meeting deadlines.

Strong problem solving and effective decision making skills. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion of sensitive and/or confidential matters.

Data driven approach to solutions.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Healthcare experience associated with population health outcomes, policy or finance.
