Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Stanford University School of Medicine Stanford University is seeking an in-person part-time Clinical Research Coordinator Associate (50% FTE) to support a mixed-methods clinical research program focused on real-time suicide risk detection among youth. The CRA will primarily support piloting the feasibility and acceptability of daily mobile assessments among youth and caregivers recruited from clinical sites at Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the broader Bay Area community. The CRA will also monitor participants in the field for increased psychological distress and user engagement.The position may be expanded to a contingent full-time position at a later date. Duties include: Serve as a main point of contact for youth participants and families, coordinating screening, consent, and onboarding procedures. Implement recruitment strategies in collaboration with pediatric clinical and community partners. Support daily study operations including scheduling visits, troubleshooting tech issues, and ensuring participant retention. Monitor and document engagement with smartphone-based data collection tools Maintain accurate and secure records in accordance with Stanford and HIPAA standards. Assist with IRB submissions, renewals, and amendments as needed. Collaborate closely with the PI, study personnel, and community stakeholders to ensure ethical and culturally responsive research strategies. Conduct semi-structured interviews or focus groups with participants, as needed. Contribute to reports, presentations, and publications as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in psychology, public health, human biology, or a related field. Experience working with youth and/or diverse populations preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a flexible part-time schedule. Familiarity with REDCap, Qualtrics, or mobile survey platforms preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Public Health (MPH) or a related field. Experience working on community-based or clinical mental health research involving youth and/or diverse populations. Demonstrated cultural humility, collaborative mindset, and commitment to ethical research practices. Ability to collect and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as NVivo, Dedoose, Stata, or R. Experience contributing to academic manuscripts, reports, or presentations. Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple responsibilities.
