About the Role
The company is looking for a dynamic and innovative professional to join their team as a Vice President of Regulatory Reporting and Data Science. In this influential role, you will lead the charge in enhancing the finance organization’s approach to regulatory and capital reporting, leveraging cutting-edge data analysis, generative AI, and machine learning technologies.
Your mission will be to drive efficiency, productivity, and quality in financial and regulatory reporting processes. You will engage with various teams to revolutionize global workflows using state-of-the-art data analytics and AI tools. Key responsibilities include analyzing potential solutions, optimizing business processes, and spearheading transformative initiatives across multiple lines of business.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analytics, a passion for effecting change, and the capacity to excel both independently and collaboratively. Applicants should have 6-10 years of experience in data or business analytics, banking consultancy, or comparable complex projects, with a focus on financial data and a foundational understanding of financial instruments. Proficiency in SQL tools and a basic understanding of Python are advantageous.
You will need to be an analytical professional with excellent communication skills, adept at negotiating and influencing stakeholders at various levels, and possess a proven track record of leading successful change initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree in data science, engineering, econometrics, or mathematics is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
This position offers substantial visibility within the Controllers Organization and provides significant opportunities for collaboration across diverse functions within the company.
