Job Description:
Manages and secures the organization's IT infrastructure within a Microsoft 365 GCC-High environment, including cloud services, networks, and communication systems. Develops and enforces IT policies, procedures, and standards aligned with federal cybersecurity frameworks such as CMMC and NIST 800-171R2. Oversees IT operations, ensures compliance, and supports secure service delivery for federal contracts. This is a full-time position located on-site in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities:
A Senior IT Administrator oversees an organization's technology infrastructure and operations. They plan, implement, and maintain IT systems, ensuring security and efficiency. They manage IT staff, budgets, and vendor relationships. They troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and ensure data integrity. They develop IT policies, provide technical support, and align IT strategies with business goals. Their focus is on ensuring reliable, secure, and effective technology solutions.
Duties:
Administer and support Microsoft 365 GCC-High services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
Manage Azure AD, identity governance, and role-based access controls (RBAC) for secure cloud access.
Implement and maintain security controls in alignment with DFARS, NIST 800-171.
Lead incident response efforts, vulnerability remediation, and coordination with executive stakeholders.
Conduct regular system audits, access reviews, and log monitoring using tools like Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.
Manage patch management, software updates, and endpoint configuration baselines.
Maintain documentation of all infrastructure, procedures, system configurations, and compliance artifacts.
Develop and test disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity plans.
Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions that enhance security, performance, and compliance.
Ensure secure configuration and lifecycle management of hardware and software assets.
Provide end-user support, technical training, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
Oversee procurement of IT equipment and software licenses in accordance with federal standards.
Manage IT budget, forecast resource needs, and optimize spending across infrastructure and licensing.
Participate in security awareness training programs and ensure staff adherence to security best practices.
Maintain current knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies relevant to federal IT environments.
Support internal and external stakeholders during proposal development with technical input as needed.
Provide local IT support as needed, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, setting up workstations, and supporting secure telework solutions.

Supervisor Responsibilities:
Supervises a small team of IT professionals to support the company's technological needs and mission-critical operations. Provides technical direction, sets priorities, and ensures high-quality service delivery across cloud systems, local support, and security compliance. Mentors staff, oversees daily task execution, and fosters a collaborative environment aligned with organizational goals. Ensures team adherence to IT policies, timelines, and best practices while supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
Clearance Required:
Applicants must have at least an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a clearance at the TS/SCI level. Preference will be given to those who have an active TS/SCI clearance. Applicants must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hiring. All ISA employees are required to uphold and maintain trustworthiness and suitability requirements of the U.S. federal government.
Experience Required:
Experience should include but is not limited to working knowledge of:
At least 7 years' experience managing IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, and cloud environments
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 GCC-High, Azure Government, and secure cloud platforms
Proven leadership in managing IT teams, projects, and vendors
Strong working knowledge of CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and FedRAMP compliance requirements
Experience developing and enforcing IT policies, SOPs, and documentation for secure operations
Familiarity with System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and audit readiness
Skilled in network administration and troubleshooting, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint support
Experience managing IT budgets, procurement, and licensing within federal guidelines
Ability to provide hands-on local IT support and user services
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Certification:
Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification requirements, such as one of the following:
CompTIA Security+ CE
CySA+
GSEC
SSCP
Additional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Microsoft 365/Azure, or Certified CMMC Professional (CCP)) are strongly preferred
