Job Description

The IT Manager provides strategic and hands-on leadership for all information-technology operations supporting International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. with a single headquarters site and a geographically dispersed, largely remote employee base. The environment is anchored in a Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant, supplemented by on-premises networking, FedRAMP-authorized SaaS platforms, and limited Azure Government IaaS workloads.

The role balances day-to-day service delivery (help desk, infrastructure, security, and compliance) with longer-term technology road-mapping and budget stewardship to ensure the organization meets mission, contractual, and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a 3-year IT roadmap aligned to corporate objectives, CMMC 2.0 and NIST SP 800-171 compliance.

Prepare and manage the annual IT operating and capital budgets; track ROI and total cost of ownership for cloud services and hardware refresh cycles.

Serve as tenant Global Administrator; configure and maintain Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD).

Implement Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, sensitivity labels, retention policies, eDiscovery, DLP, and Advanced Audit.

Oversee Intune endpoint management (Windows 10/11, iOS/iPadOS, Android, macOS) for on-prem and remote users.

Assist in the maintaining of the System Security Plan (SSP), Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), and continuous monitoring activities for DFARS 252.204-7012, CMMC Level 2, and ITAR data handling.

Lead incident response, vulnerability management, and periodic penetration tests; coordinate with the Facility Security Officer (FSO) on insider-threat and reporting requirements.

Manage Microsoft Sentinel (or equivalent SIEM) for log aggregation and correlation.

Maintain HQ local-area network (firewalls, SD-WAN, switching, Wi-Fi, VoIP) and site-to-site VPN or ExpressRoute connectivity to GCC High.

Administer DNS, DHCP, and certificate services in an Azure Gov configuration.

Establish and test disaster-recovery and business-continuity plans, leveraging Azure Site Recovery and Microsoft 365 backups.

Deploy self-service knowledge articles and automated onboarding/off-boarding workflows (e.g., Power Automate, Entra ID identity lifecycle).

Evaluate, select, and manage FedRAMP Moderate/High authorized SaaS and IaaS providers; negotiate renewals and ensure data-processing addenda meet U.S. Government flow-down clauses.

Produce SOPs, network diagrams, configuration baselines, and executive dashboards.

Deliver user-friendly security-awareness and M365 productivity training to maximize adoption and reduce risk.

Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications: Qualifications

**Education & Experience Required: **

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

8 + years of progressive IT experience, including 3 + years managing small to mid-sized technical teams.

5 + years administering Microsoft 365 (with at least 2 years in a GCC High or DoD tenant).

Technical Expertise Required:

Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 security/compliance controls, Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and PowerShell automation.

Hands-on experience with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, FedRAMP, and CMMC 2.0 frameworks.

Strong grasp of modern networking (firewalls, SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust), Windows Server/Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V).

Certifications Required:

Microsoft: MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator), SC-300 (Identity & Access Administrator), AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer), or MS-700 (Teams Admin).

Security +: CEH, CISSP, or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II/III certification.

ITIL v4 Foundation.

**Clearance & Citizenship Required: **

U.S. citizenship required by contractual government regulations.

Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Preferred Qualifications:

Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Experience deploying or operating in Azure Government or AWS GovCloud (FedRAMP High).

Expertise with Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, or Fortinet products.

Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python) for automation and compliance reporting.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Physical and Travel Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. for hardware moves/installs.

Occasional travel (≤ 15%) to client or data-center locations and industry conferences.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
