Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and national certification for a Level II trauma setting.Job Details•Work in a Level II trauma hospital performing general ultrasound procedures in the Radiology/Cardiology department,•Handle inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases with an average daily caseload of approximately 15 exams per technologist,•Perform general abdominal, OB, small parts, kidney, and vascular ultrasounds using portable equipment and PACS,•Shift schedule is 3x12s, Wednesday and Thursday 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, and Friday 5:30 AM-6:00 PM,•On-call rotation includes one weekend day 7:00 AM-7:00 PM shared with other technologists,•No floating between service lines or facilities,•Epic charting system is preferred,Job Requirements•Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required,•Current BLS and ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification required,•Must be able to scan general abdominal, OB, small parts, kidney, and vascular exams,•Experience with PACS and portable ultrasound procedures required,•Radiation badge must be provided by the candidate's agency,•SSN and Driver's License required for consideration,•First-time travelers are accepted,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Must wear teal tops and black bottoms per hospital dress code,•All time off requests must be submitted at time of application; extended RTO and holiday requests are subject to approval,•Returning employees must be separated for 1 year before being considered for a travel role,•During hurricane season (June-November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams,•Local candidates within 60 miles are considered on a case-by-case basis at a local rate,•Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed,•Completion of required onboarding modules is necessary prior to start,],•hash,:•3688179843040520311,
