Job Summary We’re looking for a CNC Machine Shop Inspector who thrives on precision, takes pride in accuracy, and isn’t afraid to get hands-on with high-tolerance parts. As part of our quality team, you’ll be the last line of defense before parts reach our customers—ensuring every component meets exact specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Inspect machined components using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM, etc.).
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements.
Perform in-process, first-article, and final inspections for CNC-machined parts.
Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a quality inspector in a CNC machine shop environment.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
Skilled with manual and digital inspection tools; CMM experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
