Position Overview – Quality Inspector – Precision Parts We're adding a full-time
Quality Inspector
to keep our production running at world-class accuracy. You'll
float from machine to machine
performing second-pass checks, stopping variation before it leaves the spindle.
Key Responsibilities – Quality Inspector – Precision Parts
Perform
100 % first-article and in-process inspections
on CNC-milled & turned parts
Verify critical dimensions using
calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, surface plates, optical comparators
Read and interpret
GD&T engineering prints, work instructions, control plans
Document results and communicate deviations immediately to machinists and supervisors
Assist with
gage R&R, tool life studies, and root-cause analysis
Must-Have Qualifications– Quality Inspector – Precision Parts
2+ years in a precision machine-shop or metal-fab environment performing
dimensional inspection
Fluent in
blueprint reading, GD&T, and basic SPC
Skilled in utilizing hand held measurement devices (micrometers, thread gauges, calipers, etc.) to perform manual inspection of precision parts
Strong communication and a proactive, shop-floor presence
