Director of Quality AssuranceDepartment: Quality AssuranceEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Fort Worth 2101Reporting To: Jeff HarlandCompensation: $110,000 - $120,000 / yearDescriptionThe Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and improvement of quality assurance functions. This role also includes defining requirements within the business development function. Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:Managing Supply Chain Quality Operations: Configure the quality team to drive performance while meeting budgetary requirements.Manage workload balance between corporate quality team members Supervise employees. Handle quality escalations. Report to executive management on performance and compliance. Review and act based on performance metrics.Overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS): Guide system design and updates. Develop standards and templates for document control. Develop QMS processes. Facilitate training for QMS users. Oversee site quality assurance at all facilities. Select and oversee the deployment of technology to support quality assurance. Research and sponsor technology initiatives to support corporate quality and training. Facilitate corrective and preventative actions. Deliver technology and training to support corrective and preventative action activities. Monitor corrective and preventative action ntinuous Improvement:Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives. Deliver technology and training to support continuous improvement activities. Monitor continuous improvement pliance:Monitor updates to quality standards. Ensure compliance with quality standards. Participate in Quality auditsProvide guidance to operations on compliance with quality standards. Identify gaps in compliance with quality standards. Manage internal audits: Select and train internal audit teams. Work with Executive Management in Schedule of internal audit activities. Monitor audit findings and follow-up actions.Third-party audits: Schedule third-party audit activities. Act as liaison to third-party auditors. Monitor audit findings and follow-up actions.Process Quality AssuranceReview and update processes and work instructions. Facilitate training for employees in processes and work instructions. Maintain established metrics. Oversee data collection for performance measurement.Quality Performance Measurement:Validate relevant metrics. Review data collection. Review quality performance reporting.Business Development:Participate in the business development process.Secondary Responsibilities:Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.Perform other duties as assigned.Job QualificationsRequirements:Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Experience:10 years of auditing experience related to ISO 9001 or similar standards.
