Data Engineer

Seeking a Data Engineer enthusiastic about healthcare and tech? GlobalLogic offers a chance to innovate in healthcare technology. Responsibilities: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) clinical data from various EMR systems (such as Epic and Cerner) and hospital PACS. Develop and maintain data pipelines for handling healthcare data, closely adhering to healthcare data standards like HL7, FHIR, and DICOM. Collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and system vendors to ensure flawless data integration and optimize data flows. Build and implement data models to represent complex medical information, ensuring data integrity and reliability. Perform data analysis to identify and solve data quality issues, improving overall system accuracy. Develop automated solutions for data extraction and transformation, using your strong programming skills. Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards, supplying to the development of scalable and secure data solutions. Requirements: Shown experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on EMR/PACS systems. Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and medical imaging formats. Proficiency in programming languages used in healthcare IT, such as Python, Java, or SQL. Strong knowledge of databases and data modeling techniques, particularly in a healthcare setting. Experience with ETL processes and tools, ensuring efficient data processing and integration. Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-functional teams.
