Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electro-mechanical systems and subassemblies according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions. You will play a key part in ensuring our products meet rigorous standards and are delivered on time to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble electro-mechanical components, wiring harnesses, and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
Read, interpret and build to schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
Perform functional and continuity tests on completed assemblies.
Install and route wiring, cables, and tubing according to layout diagrams.
Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues and report non-conformities.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical and production issues.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings
Proficiency with hand tools, soldering, and wire crimping
Basic understanding of electrical systems and mechanical components
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with ISO 9001, GMP, or other quality standards a plus.
Skills:
Work is performed in a manufacturing/production environment
May involve sitting or standing for extended periods
Requires regular use of hands and fingers to handle components and tools
Must be able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
