The
Senior Graphic Designer
leads design initiatives, collaborates with teams, mentors other designers, and ensures the creation of high-quality visual solutions that support Muckleshoot Casino Resort’s marketing and communication objectives under the direction of the Creative Services Manager. Provides expert direction and technical execution on digital and print media projects, including logos, websites, brochures, posters, flyers, direct mail, e-blasts, digital ads, outdoor signage, displays, and trade show graphics. Ensuring brand integrity and cohesive messaging while delivering innovative, high-caliber design solutions. Practice, support, and promote the Vision and Mission Statements and Core Values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort. Lead the creation of creative campaigns for multiple departments to promote all events, amenities, and entertainment for Muckleshoot Casino Resort. Develop campaigns that consider the cognitive, cultural, physical, and social factors in planning and executing designs for the target audience. Research and develop creative work that delivers on the vision, follows brand standards, and ensures the highest quality standards are met and maintained. Meet with and develop working relationships with various department managers or leads to interpret needs, recommend the best range of media, keep projects on schedule, and recommend needed actions to meet goals. Assign tasks, oversee workflow, and coach other designers to ensure on-time delivery of creative materials, including reviewing their work and providing directions. Maintain a consistent look and tone across all branded communications to meet marketing objectives. Coordinate with printers and other vendors to finalize all promotional materials, files, and projects while adhering to vendor requirements as well as any additional time and/or budget constraints. Stay abreast of current industry methodologies, trends, technologies, and best practices to push creative boundaries. Maintain clean and organized files and archives of images, photos, campaigns, and other assets. Manage timelines, deadlines, and change management within budget Attend, participate, and work at events and functions as needed and/or assigned, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel. Smile and engage with guests, team members, and vendors with a professional and friendly demeanor. Perform other duties as required. WHAT YOU’LL BRING Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or equivalent required. Extensive (10yrs+) successful graphic design experience at a senior level may be considered in lieu of a college education 5 (Five) years of experience in graphic design and production with a preference for experience in a senior or lead role required. Minimum 4 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects In-house and/or agency experience preferred. Basic photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software preferred. Previous marketing experience preferred. Copywriting and copyediting experience preferred. Experience with project management systems is a plus. A portfolio of that work demonstrates strong design, typography, and production skills. Source: Hospitality Online
