full-time Animal Hospital Receptionist
position at our Elgin, SC, location. This position starts Monday through Friday, starting at 7 AM, with a rotating weekend shift. In your role at the hospital, you'll warmly greet and check in clients, creating a positive atmosphere. You'll answer phone inquiries about services and appointments, and schedule and confirm appointments to keep the veterinarians' schedules on track. Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with data entry is essential, along with processing payments and supporting the veterinary team with administrative tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Passion for animals
Good critical thinking skills
Desire to provide excellent customer service
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
Team player with a positive attitude
At least one year of experience as a receptionist at a veterinary practice, as well as previous experience with a multi-line telephone system, is preferred but not required.
