limited duration full-time Planning, Design & Real Estate Manager,
you will
provide shared leadership and direction to internal and external partners in the areas of park and trail acquisition, planning, recreational facility design, and community engagement around recreational use and development.The position works with the other sections within OPRD to help identify current and future issues related to recreational use and development of Oregon’s rich and diverse landscape and provides a high degree of strategic and creative thought to park development projects The Planning, Design & Real Estate Program is responsible for leadership of a broad range of department processes and products including real property acquisition, state park master planning, schematic design as well as landscape architectural site design and construction drawings. Services provided by the section also include support to regional, district and park managers in developing plans for property management and park planning, trails development, and other outdoor recreation projects. here. This position will be hybrid with an option to report (roughly) anywhere west of the Cascades and will report in office 3+ days every 2 weeks or so. Minimum Qualifications: Seven years
of lead work, foreman work, or supervision related to the class concept;
OR Five years
of experience related to the class concept
AND
completion of an accredited vocational-training or construction-training program related to the class concept;
OR Four years
of related experience
AND
a
bachelor’s degree
in a related field;
OR An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Special Requirements: To be hired, a criminal record and driving record check must be completed that meets OPRD Criteria at the time of hire, and throughout employment while also maintaining a valid driver’s license.
