SSM Health - Fond du Lac Regional Clinic West, 912 S Hickory Street, Fond du Lac, WI 54935 Licensure/Certification Requirements: Candidates must possess one of the following credentials: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Job Summary:
In this role, you will support the examination and treatment of patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include contributing to patient assessments, maintaining clinical environments, and performing essential clerical tasks. Key Responsibilities: Assist with treatments as directed by providers and perform select clinical duties. Interview patients, measure vital signs, and accurately document information. Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and maintain a clean, orderly environment. Handle basic clerical responsibilities, including answering phones and managing patient records. Order and stock supplies to support clinic operations. Demonstrate alertness and prioritize safety in all tasks. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education Requirements: High School diploma/GED or 10 years of relevant work experience. For Wisconsin candidates: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience, plus graduation from an accredited medical assisting program is preferred. Experience: No prior experience required. Physical Requirements: Regularly stand and walk. Frequent use of hearing and speech for communication and monitoring. Lift, carry, and push/pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Occasional use of visual acuity for identifying distances and colors. Must be able to assist in moving patients as needed. Required Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) Work Shift:
