in the Financial Lines Claim team. This role focuses on high severity Private & Not-For-Profit D&O, Fiduciary, and Employment Practices Liability claims. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of relevant experience, preferably in Financial Lines claims, and will manage approximately 100 of the highest severity matters at any time. The role involves collaborating with internal partners on claim trends, mentoring junior team members, and handling complex negotiations, litigation, and coverage determinations. Responsibilities include managing claim inventories, ensuring excellent customer service, verifying coverage, leading investigations, developing resolution strategies, managing budgets, identifying subrogation and fraud opportunities, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The position requires preparing high-profile reports, representing the company in industry events, and providing training to less experienced staff. Reporting to a Director or above, the candidate should possess senior knowledge of the insurance industry, excellent communication skills, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to lead multiple priorities. A Juris Doctorate is preferred, along with a minimum of ten years of insurance experience and an active or obtainable Adjuster License within 90 days where applicable. The salary range in certain jurisdictions is $97,000 to $189,000 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package.
