Annual Bonus Direct message the job poster from Diamond Personnel Our client, a national law firm, is seeking a junior-level associate attorney or a technical advisor to join their Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Patent Litigation Group. This firm handles trials and appeals for generic pharmaceutical companies. Billable Hours - 1800 (Open to reduced billable hours). Schedule - Flexible in coming into the office. Locations - New York; New Brunswick, NJ; Madison, NJ; or Stamford, CT. Responsibilities: · Handle all phases of patent litigation. · Draft pleadings, write briefs, and prepare and argue motions. · Prepare for and assist with jury trials. · Argue hearings and provide support to senior litigators for other court proceedings. · Advise leading life sciences companies on patent litigation matters. Junior-Level Attorney Qualifications: · Must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. · A technical background in life sciences, chemistry, biology, or a related field is highly preferred. · Experience in Hatch-Waxman litigation; no pure ANDA litigators. · Must be in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar. Technical Advisor Qualifications: ·A PhD in Organic Chemistry, Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, or an equivalent discipline. ·Prior experience working at a law firm and familiarity with generic Hatch-Waxman is a plus.
