Position Overview:
At CVS Health, we believe that health is everything. As a Pharmacy Trainee, you will work closely with our pharmacy team, contributing to a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. Your role includes:
Ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Supporting pharmacy professional practice and quality assurance.
Providing exceptional customer service and managing inventory.
Assisting in workflow management, with supervision from licensed pharmacists.
Key Responsibilities:
Your main focus will be on improving patient health through participation in care programs. Additionally, you will:
Lead with empathy and genuine care for patients, customers, and team members.
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve better health outcomes.
Foster an energetic and enthusiastic team culture.
Requirements:
To qualify, you must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy and possess or be in the process of obtaining a valid intern and/or technician licensure.
Preferred Skills:
Immunization eligibility.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
Capacity to perform tasks requiring dexterity and precision, including lifting up to 20 lbs.
