VTG is seeking a

Mid-level Acquisition Analyst

to support the Navsea PEO Ships Front Office (PMS 347). The position is located at the

Washington DC, Navy Yard . It is a 100% onsite role. What will you do?

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in Navy acquisition processes and a deep understanding of DoD procurement, contracting, and program management. The position operates in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment with a lean team, requiring agility, initiative, and strong communication skills. Develop and maintain acquisition strategies, contracting actions, and milestone decision documentation in alignment with NAVSEA, program sponsors, FMB, and Congressional requirements. Primary Responsibilities:

The Sr. Program Analyst will proactively and reactively respond to short- and long-term requests from SEA 21 Leadership, coordinating as necessary with stakeholders, to provide quality on-time products including communication strategies, briefs, point papers, and analysis. The role involves working on strategic initiatives to assess SEA 21 data and metrics, making recommendations on data gathering, filing, controlling, and maintenance for rapid use. The scope includes developing initiatives that focus on improved business practices, data utilization, messaging, tasker responses, and technical/program execution processes. Required Skills: Proven experience in acquisition strategy development and RFP creation. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 10 years supporting U.S. Navy acquisition programs. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Ability to engage in frequent customer interactions, including scheduled and ad hoc meetings. Prepare recurring reports, respond to inquiries, and facilitate contract execution. Liaise closely with PMS 347 support team members and associated activities. Provide support to the PAPM in RFP development and source selection processes. Support acquisition planning, documentation, and program execution. Create briefings, reports, and materials for senior leadership. Respond to short-notice, unplanned requirements with flexibility and professionalism. Collect, review, and analyze data to provide actionable recommendations to the Government. Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets; serve as a central point of contact. Coordinate and execute meetings, events, and off-site activities. Support program reviews, milestone decision reviews, and conferences. Draft and review briefing materials and process documentation. Understand organizational structure, interagency relationships, and internal culture to inform recommendations. Provide writing support for technical and annual reports. Assist with administrative tasks as needed. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle documentation and terminology. Military friendly Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $70,000-$100,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations, and contractual requirements, which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
