Job Description
TMB, Inc has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Analyst to support the Team Ships Front Office (TSFO).
Responsibilities
Support all acquisition and contract management activities required by the TFSO Director of Acquisition, including development of acquisition strategies, program contracting actions, and milestone decision documentation for NAVSEA, the program sponsor, FMB, and Congress.
Coordinate closely with TFSO division directors and support program execution activities.
Assist in acquisition planning, documentation, and execution for Navy programs.
Prepare briefings, reports, and materials for senior leadership.
Respond promptly to short-notice requirements from the Director of Acquisitions.
Provide guidance on information collection, review, and analysis for government recommendations.
Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets.
Organize meetings, events, and support program reviews and milestone decisions.
Develop briefing materials and process documentation.
Understand organizational structure, relationships, and culture to inform recommendations.
Assist in preparing technical and annual reports.
Support administrative duties as needed.
Track and report TMB monthly accomplishments for TFSO.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2-5 years supporting U.S. Navy Acquisition programs.
Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle documentation and terminology.
Experience in a Navy program office, working with defense contractors and government agencies (preferred).
DAWIA certification (Level I or II in Program Management or Contracting preferred).
Active DOD Secret security clearance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to interface with internal and external customers regularly.
Ability to travel reasonably (up to ½ mile one way).
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
