Position Overview A leading investment advisory firm is seeking a results-driven and team-oriented
Vice President
to join its Real Estate Advisory team. This role involves supporting institutional investor clients and discretionary mandates through comprehensive fund evaluation, manager due diligence, and investment committee preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in real estate investments and a client-first mindset, with a career trajectory toward becoming a trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Sourcing & Evaluation
Source and evaluate real estate fund offerings, including secondaries and co-investments. Conduct detailed due diligence on managers and fund structures, including strategy, track record, and alignment. Draft fund summaries and investment committee memos. Present recommendations to internal committees and clients. Mentor junior team members and leverage proprietary analytics tools.
Client Relationship Management
Lead client communications, including pipeline reviews, portfolio updates, and investment recommendations. Respond to client inquiries with a high standard of service. Monitor market trends and provide context for investment decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field. 6+ years of experience in real estate private equity, consulting, or capital markets. Strong analytical and modeling skills; experience with fund diligence and underwriting. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word; PowerBI experience a plus. CFA, CPA, or CAIA designation preferred.
Additional Attributes
Experience in valuation and investment analysis, including capital structures and waterfalls. Proven ability to manage and develop junior talent. High level of confidentiality and commitment to learning. Willingness to travel and adopt new technologies.
