Job Description Salary: $27-$30/hour Overview As a leader in image guidance solutions, IMRIS Imaging, Inc. provides optimized, fully integrated image-guided therapy environments that address the important needs of patients, clinicians, and hospitals by delivering timely MRI and imaging data to clinicians for use during surgical or interventional procedures. The IMRIS Surgical Theatre enables intraoperative imaging directly within operating rooms. The Company also designs and manufactures proprietary head fixation devices, imaging coils and OR tables for use in this unique and multifunctional intraoperative environment. It is estimated that over 70,000 patients have benefited from lifesaving or life-extending procedures performed in an IMRIS Surgical Theatre. IMRIS will continue to integrate new intraoperative imaging technologies and shape the future of neurosurgery in operating rooms worldwide.
We are currently searching for a Sr. Warehouse Associate to join our team in Chaska, MN. The Sr. Warehouse Associate is a multi-faceted role responsible for performing advanced warehousing operations and supporting the upkeep and functionality of the facility. This position includes inventory management, equipment operation, coordination with vendors, and facilities-related tasks. The ideal candidate will act as a key point of contact on the warehouse floor, troubleshoot issues, assist peers, and support general facilities duties, including occasional manual tasks such as snow removal or salting during inclement weather.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations Receive, store, and distribute materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse according to established procedures and safety guidelines Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands and shipping deadlines Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counting, stock replenishment, and reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory records Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and proficiently to support daily operations Receive, store, and distribute materials, products, and equipment per established procedures and safety guidelines. Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently to meet internal and customer requirements. Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and variance resolution. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and powered hand tools. Assist with crate building, freight scheduling, and international shipments, including customs documentation. Track and report inventory and shipment data using warehouse management systems. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse in accordance with 5S practices.
Facilities Support Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and cleanliness issues Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to optimize the performance and longevity of warehouse facilities and equipment Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and repairs as needed Conduct routine inspections of the facility, identifying and addressing maintenance issues or safety concerns. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements. Manage basic facilities upkeep tasks such as minor repairs, ordering maintenance supplies, and ensuring equipment functionality. Perform seasonal or weather-related facility tasks such as shoveling snow or applying salt to walkways as needed. Support compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations related to facility and warehouse operations.
Team Collaboration and Communication Serve as an informal resource for other warehouse associates, assisting with training and answering questions. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support internal material flow and project execution. Communicate effectively with management, vendors, and carriers to resolve operational or facilities-related issues. Step in to coordinate warehouse floor activities when the Director of Operations is unavailable.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Reports directly to the Director of Operations Does not supervise other employees but may guide or assist team members during daily operations
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse or facilities management a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations; experience with facilities or equipment maintenance strongly preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks (manual and electric), and warehouse tools. Forklift certification required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks independently. Working knowledge of inventory systems, shipping software, and international logistics practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse and facility operations. Ability to lift or move heavy objects (3545 lbs. regularly, up to 60 lbs. occasionally). Willingness to perform hands-on, physical tasks as needed, including outdoor or seasonal work.
