Zuora Billing - Solution Architect The Zuora Solution Architect is a subject matter expert responsible for client delivery, proposals, new business opportunities, and knowledge management on Zuora Billing projects. The role involves working closely with the Product Owner and Technical Architect to understand requirements and develop quality solutions that meet client needs. Responsibilities Serve as the technical leader for Zuora Billing projects Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging Salesforce Billing Provide effort estimates and articulate benefits and risks of proposed solutions Offer hands-on technical assistance to developers Stay updated on new Zuora products and capabilities Assist in sales efforts with technical effort estimates Present to clients and develop proof of concepts as needed Publish thought leadership, speak publicly, and present to clients Coach and mentor junior team members Lead or participate in technical discussions and workshops Create high-level architecture diagrams for technical and business audiences Optimize product configurations for billing requirements Guide clients on billing strategies Act as the solution owner, ensuring project scope and outcomes are on track Interview candidates Travel up to 50% Qualifications At least 12 years of experience in digital transformation, technology implementation, and SaaS & AI applications Ability to work with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change Strategic thinking to align digital initiatives with business goals 5+ Zuora Billing implementations Minimum 5 years of Zuora platform experience Understanding of data models and product/pricing management Knowledge of the full billing cycle including invoicing, payments, revenue recognition, and ERP integration Experience in B2B or B2C e-commerce is preferred Excellent communication skills Experience as a Solution Architect on 3+ projects of at least 6 months Active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain them within the first months of hire About Us Slalom is a human-centered business and technology consulting firm that focuses on outcomes. The salary range for this position is $122,000-$225,000 for Principal Architect and $140,000-$258,000 for Senior Delivery Principal Architect, plus potential bonuses.
