We are seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our Creativity Apps team at Apple in Cupertino. The role involves developing and executing testing strategies for our software products, ensuring high quality and performance. Minimum Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in QA/QE At least 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer in Test, programming in Swift and/or Python for prototyping and testing internal tools Proficiency in testing mobile/desktop apps, cloud frameworks, and backend/APIs, including at least one modern web framework such as React, Angular, or Ember Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology, and processes Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent of 5+ years relevant experience Preferred Qualifications
Experience with photo, video, film, and cloud editing Understanding of system interdependencies Analytical, methodical, inquisitive, and persistent problem solver Ability to communicate technical details effectively to varied audiences Proficient in managing multiple efforts and meeting deadlines Skills in bug detection, isolation, and regression testing Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) Ability to translate software features into effective test plans and cases Note: Apple offers a competitive total compensation package, including base pay, stock programs, benefits, and educational reimbursements.
