See how at www.cognizant.com Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 10+ years of technical experience and Healthcare domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, database development, Tsql, JavaScript and MySQL. This role involves working in a model with a focus on developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. The candidate will contribute to the company's mission by delivering impactful software that enhances our services. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable software solutions using SQL Node JS Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and test new features and functionalities. Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with team members. Implement best practices for software development including version control testing and deployment. Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability ensuring efficient use of resources. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions. Contribute to the improvement of development processes and workflows to enhance team productivity. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to software solutions. Ensure software solutions align with company goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Utilize domain knowledge in the Provider sector to develop solutions that meet industry-specific needs. Qualifications This individual must be hands-on and strong in Systems development Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, database development, Tsql, JavaScript and MySQL Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Have experience in the healthcare domain Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the software engineering field. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is $68,422 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
