See how at www.cognizant.com Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 8 to 12 years of technical experience and Healthcare domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java SQL Node JS Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL. Experience in the Provider domain is a plus. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive our company's success and positively impact society. Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable software solutions using Java AWS Node JS and Angular JS to meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and optimize SQL and MySQL databases for efficient data management. Utilize Java and JavaScript to create robust high-performance applications that enhance user experience. Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting regular code reviews and implementing best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure seamless application performance. Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and support. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools to increase team productivity. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and development. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives. Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards. Document technical specifications and project progress to ensure transparency and effective communication. Work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work to maximize productivity and collaboration. Qualifications Demonstrate proficiency in Java AWS SQL Node JS Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL. Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Show experience in the Provider domain is a plus. Have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior developers. Display a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies. Qualifications BS or equivalent experience Applications will be accepted until August 19th, 2025. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is $81,337 to $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
