ASAP Company Description Nodiac is an early-stage startup at the intersection of renewable energy and artificial intelligence. We develop AI compute infrastructure at renewable energy sites unlocking stranded solar and wind power to meet the growing demand for clean, cost-effective compute capacity. Our model leverages retrofits, interconnection strategy, and co-location to rapidly deploy high-performance infrastructure where traditional data centers can't. We’re backed by leading investors and renewable energy pioneers and we’re building fast. Role Description We are seeking a VP of Strategic Accounts who can win, grow, and own our most critical customer relationships among hyperscalers, AI compute operators, and high-density data center users. This role starts as a high-impact individual contributor, personally driving deals from first contact through contract execution. Team-building will come later — after you’ve secured initial customer wins that justify expanding resources. You’ll be the face of Nodiac to some of the most influential infrastructure buyers in the world, closing multi-MW powered-shell lease agreements and expanding them into long-term, repeatable deployments. Responsibilities Customer Acquisition & Growth Originate, develop, and close multi-MW powered-shell leases with hyperscalers and AI compute operators. Expand accounts through behind-the-meter upgrades, large-scale takeovers, and replication across Nodiac’s IPP/developer network. Manage the full customer lifecycle, from first meeting to renewal/expansion. Structure and negotiate long-term commercial agreements with complex stakeholders (hyperscalers, IPPs, utilities). Align deal terms to protect margins while enabling rapid scaling. Work cross-functionally with development and engineering to ensure customer timelines match site readiness. Market & Relationship Development Build senior-level relationships within procurement, sustainability, and infrastructure teams at major cloud and AI compute companies. Maintain deep intelligence on hyperscaler capacity plans, procurement cycles, and ESG commitments. Represent Nodiac at key industry events, conferences, and executive meetings. Have 8+ years in enterprise/data center sales, strategic partnerships, or hyperscaler account management. Have closed multi-million-dollar, multi-site deals in energy, infrastructure, or data center sectors. Have experience selling to AWS, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, or major AI compute operators like CoreWeave or Lambda. Understand data center infrastructure, power delivery, and ESG requirements. Can operate independently in an early-stage environment without relying on a large support team. Are entrepreneurial, resourceful, and relentlessly focused on outcomes. Ideally, You Will Also: Understand the nuances of working with utilities when adding new grid-adjacent infrastructure. Understand the goals, requirements, and governance of hyperscalers, utilities, and infrastructure providers.
