About the Role The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Brand President and is responsible for supporting and enhancing the productivity of the Brand President. The person in this role will thrive by building strong relationships across the entire company and use their in-depth knowledge of each team’s complementary priorities to execute on relevant tasks and initiatives. Responsibilities will evolve regularly and include frequent interactions with executive leadership, including close partnership with the Brand President as well as other Gap Inc. assistants. The ability to interact and collaborate with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining positive, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important. What You'll Do Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Brand President : managing an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; including compiling documents for travel-related meetings and other tasks as needed Successfully prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters proactively and in a timely manner to facilitate the Brand President’s ability to effectively lead Completes deliverables and tasks with minimal supervision to include but not limited to composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential, collecting and analyzing information, and preparing presentations Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects, concurrently, with tight deadlines Works closely with and may provide guidance to Athleta administrative team and Gap Inc peers Who You Are Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); able to communicate, collaborate, and build partnerships with all levels of the organization Confidently able to handle multiple tasks, projects, competing priorities and tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality and exercising sound, independent judgement Strong adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness High degree of professionalism and confidentiality Proficient and advanced computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience and comfort with a fast paced, multitask environment Based in the Bay Area.
