About the Role
As a CBRE Global Procurement Director, you will oversee the planning and direction of procurement within the Industrial & Logistics sector. This role involves sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers. What You’ll Do
Lead global procurement across 80+ manufacturing sites, focusing on EMEA and AMS regions. Drive strategic procurement integration for acquired brands. Lead organizational change initiatives across global sites. Assess team structure and workload, optimizing for better outcomes. Apply deep technical procurement expertise, especially during acquisitions and expansion. Communicate procurement strategies clearly and impactfully. Champion continuous improvement using lean principles and cross-functional collaboration. Manage and develop team performance, including training and evaluations. Assist in creating and implementing organizational policies and procedures. Develop and execute local and regional sourcing strategies. Manage procurement budget and vendor relationships. Resolve vendor disputes and develop organizational requirements. Negotiate with external partners to reach common goals. Identify and solve operational and organizational problems. Improve existing methods, processes, and standards. What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience considered. Certifications such as C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or N.A.C.M. required or eligibility. Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management preferred. Ability to communicate difficult information and set performance expectations. Leadership skills to set and achieve targets impacting multiple departments. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational skills and inquisitive demeanor. Why CBRE?
