Senior Software Engineer

Overview AJANTA CONSULTING, LLC. Telework THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD The Senior Software Engineer will provide technical and professional support to the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) Aerospace Medicine Consultation Division, specifically to support clinical and operational data analysis. Responsibilities Aid in the development of a web application that hosts a suite of predictive analytics. Demonstrate knowledge through actual coding. Independently develop web applications. Visualize data effectively. Visualize hierarchical data structures. Obtain HIPAA training upon starting work. Maintain HIPAA standards and prevent data leaks. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum five (5) years of experience in Python. Minimum three (3) years of experience in JavaScript. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience with Scrum process. Experience with Git source control. Experience with UNIX systems. Basic networking knowledge (OSI model layers 3 & 4). Experience developing dashboards to interact with AI technologies (preferred). Experience with Flask Web Serving Library in Python (preferred). Experience with SQLAlchemy ORM library in Python (preferred). Experience with HTML / CSS (preferred). Experience in web application development (preferred). Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular (preferred). Experience with SQL and databases (preferred). Physical Demands Travel may be required. Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; may perform repeated motions with arms, wrists, hands, or fingers. Occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision. Teleworking permitted: 100% remote.
