Our client is a top-tier, employee-owned construction firm with a proud 100+ year history of delivering Hawaii’s most iconic infrastructure and landmark projects. Known for excellence across heavy civil, commercial, power & industrial, and waterfront divisions, they are searching for a driven Project Engineer ready to make a real difference statewide.
What You’ll Lead:
Develop and review critical shop drawings (rebar, forming, scaffolding, traffic control) that directly impact safe, efficient field operations
Own the management and resolution of RFIs, maintaining seamless coordination across design disciplines using BIM 360 or Autodesk
Partner closely with project managers to control costs, oversee scheduling, and supervise construction—ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets
Drive quality control processes by managing submittals, reports, inspections, and comprehensive project documentation
Embrace diverse engineering challenges that keep projects moving forward and exceed client expectations
What You Bring to the Table: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent hands-on experience
At least 6 years of proven construction experience in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments
Strong skills in estimating, scheduling, and interpreting complex plans and specifications
Exceptional communication and organizational talents, with a problem-solving mindset
Proficiency or familiarity with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe preferred
