Salary: $165,000 – $225,000 base + contingent component + equity

Company Description

We are partnering with a fast-growing Series A AI fintech company that is transforming consumer underwriting for real estate and beyond. With over $20M in funding, $10M in annual recurring revenue, and projected growth of 150–200% this year, the company has already achieved strong product-market fit. Its AI-enabled platform automates application evaluation, fraud prevention, and risk assessment for mortgages and apartment rentals—reducing operational costs and improving accuracy for its clients.

The team is lean, high-performing, and ambitious, with a culture centered on hard work, low ego, and intellectual rigor. This role offers the opportunity to be the first marketing hire , building the marketing function from the ground up in a data-driven, high-growth environment.

What You Will Do

  • Build and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive awareness and lead generation.

  • Develop a strong content creation engine—including thought leadership, case studies, blog posts, and social media campaigns.

  • Launch demand generation initiatives across paid, organic, event, and outbound channels.

  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to craft compelling product positioning and messaging.

  • Establish performance metrics and use data to optimize campaigns for ROI.

  • Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and key customer touchpoints.

  • Take full ownership of the marketing funnel—from ideation through execution and optimization.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in high-growth B2B SaaS startups.

  • Proven success as the first or second marketing hire in a scaling environment.

  • Strong background in content creation and strategy with exceptional writing and editing skills.

  • Experience building marketing campaigns from the ground up, including demand generation across multiple channels.

  • Ability to translate complex technical products into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Comfortable in a metrics-driven role focused on generating measurable pipeline growth.

  • Mission-oriented, highly intelligent, low ego, and willing to roll up your sleeves.

Preferred

  • Experience in fintech, regtech, AI, or related SaaS industries.

  • Background in marketing for financial infrastructure, payments, or lending technology.

  • Degree from a top-tier university.

Compensation and Benefits and Other Things

  • Base salary: $165,000 – $225,000

  • Contingent performance-based component tied to pipeline targets

  • Equity package (0.10% – 0.30%)
