Keep reading to learn more. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2 years of MIG/TIG welding experience. Grinding, press, and forklift experience preferred. Welding certification is required. Key Responsibilities Weld and fabricate components using steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and jet-kote materials. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan and execute welding projects. Determine welding techniques, calculate requirements , and prepare materials for fabrication. Perform first-part inspections and verify weld quality before full production runs. Ensure welds meet cosmetic and structural standards , with minimal warping. Operate and maintain welding equipment, including performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting breakdowns. Insert and press hardware (studs , PEM nuts , etc. ) as needed for assembly. Optimize production efficiency while fabricating custom enclosures and small parts. Maintain compliance with all safety procedures and company policies. Sustain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation using 5S and lean manufacturing principles .
