Welder - Precision ManufacturingLocation: Saratoga Springs, NYPay Rate: Based on experienceSchedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMWe are seeking a skilled Welder to join our precision manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role focused on fabricating structural components and assemblies to tight tolerances using a variety of welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience reading engineering drawings, interpreting weld symbols, and producing high-quality welds with minimal supervision.About the Role:As a Welder, you will be responsible for the setup, layout, tack-up, and full welding of various frames, brackets, and components made from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. You will play a key role in the assembly and build-out of high-performance machinery and structural systems.Key Responsibilities: Perform TIG, MIG, Stick, and torch welding on sheet metal, angle iron, milled steel, aluminum, and stainless steel Fabricate and square up various geometries for machine components and structural weldments Interpret blueprints and weld symbols to meet dimensional and cosmetic finish specifications Weld both horizontal and vertical geometries accurately and consistently Use grinders and sanders to achieve finished, cosmetically clean welds Set up and maintain welding equipment properly Complete machine builds and component assemblies to spec and on schedule Arrive on time and participate in team meetings and related work functionsAdditional Responsibilities: Collaborate professionally with team members and other departments Support the department in reaching strategic goals Perform other duties as assigned by leadershipQualifications: High school diploma or GED required; vocational or apprenticeship program preferred Minimum 4 years of welding experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of welding procedures, blueprints, and tolerances Must provide own tools required for daily tasks Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with loud noise and machineryThis is a great opportunity for a reliable and detail-oriented welder to join a team focused on craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement.
