Job DescriptionWelding Fabrication Technician Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Welding Fabrication Technicianto join a metal distribution facility located in Alpharetta, GA. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks, including welding, fabricating, and other assigned duties.Pay Rate $27.50 per hourSchedule and HoursMonday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pmOvertime may be mandatoryWelding Fabrication TechnicianDuties and Responsibilities•Interpret and work from detailed blueprints and production specifications to fabricate and weld products using the correct materials and welding techniques.•Plan and execute the most efficient sequence of fitting and welding to meet quality standards and production timelines.•Inspect completed welds to verify compliance with manufacturing requirements.•Ensure work meets quality expectations and accurately complete related documentation and production reports.•Perform flame or plasma beveling on precision parts in accordance with customer drawings and specifications.•Handle and organize incoming/outgoing materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.•Additional duties as directed by supervisors.Welding Fabrication TechnicianQualifications and Requirements•High school diploma or GED equivalent•At least three years of fabrication experience, including welding, or recent completion of a welding certification program.•Previous flame/plasma beveling experience highly preferred•Previous forklift or overhead crane experience highly preferred.•Drug screening and background checks required.•Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted, in office lifting assessment is required.Job TypeFull Time, Temporary to HireBenefits •Weekly Pay•Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance•40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours•6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours401(k) Retirement PlanAutomation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401K matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.Interested in this job?Click Apply Now, email your resume to , or call us at 770.424.9964 to learn more.
