Job DescriptionMIG Aluminum Welder/FitterAutomation Personnel Services is looking for a MIG Welder/Fitter (Aluminum) for one of our clients located in the North Houston, TX area leveraging advanced welding and fabrication skills to contribute to the construction of high-quality mechanical systems and energy infrastructure. Pay Rate$26.00-$28.00 per hourSchedule and Hours Monday - Friday (sometimes Weekends)06:00am - 2:30pm OT as neededMIG Welder/Fitter Duties and Responsibilities: Mechanical and Structural ExpertiseInterpret mechanical blueprints to identify required component specificationsBuild structural elements using raw materials and appropriate techniquesOperate welding tools to securely join structural piecesCut components accurately using shears, saws, torches, and chipper knivesReplace structural parts that are damaged or defective Quality Control and SafetySmooth out imperfections with grinders, scrapers, and hand filesComply with all safety regulations and site procedures Team CollaborationWork closely with fellow Fitters on complex, large-scale construction projectsMIG Welder/Fitter Qualifications and Requirements: Education & ExperiencePossess a high school diploma or GED equivalentDemonstrated hands-on experience in the fitter profession Technical CompetenciesSkilled in operating various hand and power toolsProficient in MIG welding with Aluminum, Carbon Steel, and Stainless SteelCapable of interpreting and applying mechanical blueprints Cognitive & Analytical SkillsAbility to maintain focus and attention over extended periodsStrong skills in analyzing issues and solving problems effectively Organizational & Communication AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communicationProven time management and organizational efficiency Additional SkillsAdvanced mechanical and welding expertiseBilingual fluency in English and Spanish or native-level Spanish proficiency (highly preferred)Job TypeTemp to Permanent Benefits•Weekly Pay•401(k) retirement plan•Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability and life insurance•5 paid Vacation Days after 1 year of continuous service (paid as a service bonus)•6 paid Holidays after 1500 continuous hours of service within a calendar yearInterested in this job?Click Apply Now, email your resume to , or call us at 832.585.5906 to learn more.
