- Manage an average of 30-40 pediatric patients per day, with capabilities for up to 45 on very busy days.
- Conduct well visits and manage acute sick visits in a scheduled environment that mimics urgent care.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks for efficient chart management.
- Engage with parents, providing reassurance and answering queries to ensure a supportive environment.
- Oversee and adjust pre-prepared patient charts, medications, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with your dedicated scribe and medical assistant to ensure efficient patient flow and care.
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- License needed: Valid New York Physician Assistant license
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in Pediatrics or Pediatric Urgent Care
