ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY
SUMMARY : The Cal Poly Pomona Foundation is currently searching for two undergraduate or graduate student assistants for Agriculture Research Project. This position will assist with one or more of the following: farm preparation, transplantation, plant data collection, water and nitrogen treatment, care of crops, data processing, and algorithm development for precision farming.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Cal Poly Pomona student. Must possess excellent written and verbal skills. Engineering, Plant Science, and Computer Science majors. Excellent creativity, an eye for design and detail oriented. Must be able to complete projects in a timely manner and meet deadlines. Ability to work at the crop fields.
This position could be considered for an internship with the approval of student's department chair or internship coordinator.
OFFERED:
•$18-$20 per hour
•10-15 hours per week Monday-Friday
•Term: up to 9 months
