Pay Information $1,876 per week About The Position Job Title: Oncology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Candidates must have experience in oncology nursing. - Candidates must be familiar with chemotherapy administration, central lines, and medication drips. Description: This is a travel RN position in an oncology unit. The unit has 35 beds and consists of a team of 10 staff members. The night shift includes 6 RNs, 1 charge nurse, and 3 patient care technicians. Patient ratios are approximately 1:6. The unit is equipped with chemotherapy administration tools, epidurals, and PCA pumps. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. A positive attitude and engagement are highly valued in this role.
