Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,962 per week

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Certifications:

• Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• No exemptions for Tdap or flu vaccines (including religious or medical)

Experience:

• Required: Telemetry experience, Intermediate Care experience, Epic experience
• Preferred: Cardiac experience, travel experience, previous charge experience
• Minimum: 1 year relevant RN experience

Contract Details:

• Accepts local travelers (≤75 miles) – offered at LESS PAY
• Every other weekend & holiday coverage required (min 6 weekends per contract; may be fewer based on schedule)
• May be placed on-call 1× 12-hour shift per pay period if census drops (must be within 1 hour response time)
• All units may handle COVID patients
• Guaranteed Hours: 48/week

28 total beds: 20-bed Telemetry level of care 8-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Patient population: Heart failure, chest pain rule-out, post-cath (with/without PCI), post pacemaker/defibrillator implant, TCAR, carotid endarterectomy Procedures: Cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) with procedural sedation Staffing ratios: Nights 1:5–6, Days 1:4–5 Floating: To appropriate units
