Job Description: We are currently seeking a CDL Class A Company Drivers for over-the-road (OTR) assignments involving flatbed or step deck trailers based in Winston, GA. Working with Owner-Operators too! Pay: Compensation: Competitive pay starting at 27% of Gross OR $0.65 per practical mile driven. Earnings increase with experience and performance. Drivers take home about $1200-$4500 Weekly. Qualifications: Minimum 2 Years Recent Verifiable CDL A Tractor-Trailer Experience Required No Exceptions Due to Insurance License: Valid CDL Class A. Clean MVR Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient use of driving hours. Communication: Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the team and dispatcher. Load Securing: Experience in strapping, tarping, and securing all types of loads on flatbed or step deck trailers. Physical Ability: Capable of handling the physical demands of loading, securing, and transporting cargo. Key Responsibilities: Safely Operate: Drive a heavy or tractor-trailer truck with a capacity of at least 40,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Load & Unload: Manage cargo loading and unloading using appropriate equipment and methods. Document Activity: Maintain accurate records and activity logs. Report Issues: Communicate any problems or incidents to dispatch immediately. Conduct Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck. Handle Tarps & Straps: Skilled in using tarps and straps for securing various types of loads.
