Pay Information $2,086 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13-26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring experience required. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath and Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery experience required. Sheath removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, and Central Line care management experience required. PICC line management experience required. Cardiac drip titration experience with Diltiazem and Amiodarone required. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly lead to cancellation. The unit will accept first-time travelers. Local candidates are accepted with a rate difference. The patient ratio is 1:5-6. The unit monitors cardiac patients. Special procedures include managing cardiac drips such as Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, and Dopamine. Sheath pulls and TR Band management are part of the procedures. Candidates may be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters. The unit works with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Candidates must be comfortable with floating within or to an affiliate facility. Candidates must work 5-6 weekends within the contract period. Candidates are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. This role requires managing dysrhythmias, blood product administration, and cardiac telemetry. Charting experience with an electronic documentation system is preferred.
