There is a strict no-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Candidates should not have any barriers that prevent completion of compliance on time. All Registered Nurses must pass a required EKG exam regardless of specialty. Candidates are responsible for managing IV insulin protocols and administering blood products. They must be experienced in non-invasive airway management, including CPAP and BIPAP. Candidates will provide care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including strokes and renal disorders. This position requires floating between different facilities if necessary. The unit provides telemetry monitoring for cardiac surveillance. Interdisciplinary support is available on the unit, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates should be knowledgeable in wound care and management of dysrhythmias.
