Job Location: Meadow View Assisted Living - Arlington, TX Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Job Summary: The Receptionist provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Receptionist will be responsible but not limited to answering all incoming telephone calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, greeting of persons entering the facility in a professional manner, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. Qualifications

Must have computer skills and knowledgeable use of other office equipment. Has ability to meet and deal with a variety of employees, residents, family members, and general public. Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required. Responsibilities

Answers the telephone and directs the caller to the appropriate personnel. Will take a message and ensures appropriate personnel receives the message timely, if voicemail is not available. Greets and provides assistance to visitors within the facility. Receives, sorts, and distributes all incoming mail. Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services. Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies. Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Physical Demands

Administrative filing; photocopying; faxing copies; delivering mail or other documents to employees, residents, or department heads as necessary.

Worker will be bending and stooping as he/she is filing documents, reloading copier and computer with paper.

3. Lifting/Handling: Occasionally

Worker will be lifting and handling when restocking office supplies, filing administrative records (active and inactive). Range of weight: 1-50 pounds.

Worker will carry documents and administrative supplies. Range of weight: 1-50 pounds

Moving supplies from one storage room to another, administrative file folders from active to inactive.

Job Location: May work throughout all areas of the facility including the administrative office and nurses stations. May be exposed to communicable disease and/or bodily fluids, medical preparations, toxic substances and ionizing radiation.
