Our client is a general contractor based in Queens-specializing in high-end residential gut renovations for high-net-worth clients across New York City. They are seeking a skilled, polished, and proactive Superintendent to lead on-site operations and represent the firm on some of the most exclusive residential projects in the city. Job Description
As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following: Oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring construction is progressing safely, on time, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship Act as the primary on-site representative, interfacing directly with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors Coordinate all trades, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics from pre-construction through final punch list Maintain and enforce site safety protocols and DOB compliance Conduct daily progress reports and work closely with Project Managers to track schedules and resolve issues proactively Ensure that every detail-down to the finishes-is executed to perfection MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. 5 years (minimum) of experience as a Superintendent in high-end residential construction in NYC Deep knowledge of luxury materials, millwork, and interior finishes Experience managing projects in occupied and unoccupied high-end residences, townhouses, and condos Ability to lead and communicate effectively with subcontractors and clients alike Working knowledge of NYC building codes, DOB procedures, and site safety requirements Tech-savvy with experience in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) What's on Offer
