Truck Owner Team Leader I

JOB SUMMARY: The Truck Owner Team Leader I is responsible for the overall technical training, scheduling and support to the Customer Prep team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the truck owner team, Customer Prep Publish and maintain technical trouble shooting guides Train, coach, and mentor team members on troubleshooting and repair processes Lead day-to-day activities within their Customer Prep team to ensure that customer acceptance schedules are achieved Lead team-based process improvement activities Create Customer Prep team schedules Collect and analyze quality data to improve processes and develop training Communicate with customers and have open discussions about issues with the product MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or its equivalent One (1) or more years of related experience Leadership experience Experience in a manufacturing environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) or more years of experience at Pierce Manufacturing Experience in lean manufacturing principals such as value streams, 5S, 7 general types of waste, and project planning Capable of utilizing Microsoft Excel Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
