POSITION PURPOSE

The HR Generalist will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions, focusing on audits, staffing, and junior HR business partner duties. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of all HR centers of excellence, including employee life-cycle, payroll, benefits, compensation, learning and development, and HR transitions. The HR Generalist will also manage administrative tasks such as unemployment claims, verifications of employment, and accuracy of employee data within our HRIS.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

Audits

Conduct and oversee weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Identify and address any discrepancies or issues found during audits, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Staffing

Own and control the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring effective management of staffing needs across practices. Monitor job postings and candidate flow, and proactively reach out to office managers if positions remain open for extended periods or if there are concerns with candidate quality or quantity.

HR Centers Of Excellence

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all HR functions, including employee life-cycle, payroll, benefits, compensation, learning and development, and HR transitions. Serve as a knowledgeable resource and provide support across these areas, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Junior HR Business Partner Duties

Act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, handling intake calls, and addressing employee concerns with professionalism and confidentiality. Manage the documentation process for verbal and written communications, including drafting, reviewing, and filing HR-related documents. Assist with employee relations, providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.

Administrative Tasks

Handle unemployment claims, ensuring timely and accurate responses in coordination with relevant departments. Manage verifications of employment, responding to external requests while maintaining data integrity. Oversee employee data within our HRIS, ensuring accurate job titles, reporting structures, and salary details are maintained.

Minimum Qualifications

Educational Attainment

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.

HR Knowledge and Expertise

Demonstrates a deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations. Proficient in utilizing HRIS systemsand managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Experience with Paycom highly preferred. Experience conducting comprehensive HR audits and implementing necessary improvements.

Ability to analyze complex HR issues and data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Demonstrates proactive problem-solving abilities and implements effective solutions.

Effectively manages multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Displays strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist role encompassing audits, staffing, and HR administration. Experience in healthcare or multi-site environments is an advantage.
