Overview: Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy healthcare office. This role supports providers with both patient care and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities: Room patients, take vitals, and update medical histories in EMR Assist with procedures, administer medications, start IVs, and perform in-office tests Draw blood and process lab specimens Educate patients on care and treatment plans Handle front desk tasks such as check-in/out, scheduling, and prescription management Maintain medical supply inventory Qualifications: 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience (RMA/CMA preferred) CPR certification required; IV start and phlebotomy experience preferred Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and medical terminology EMR experience and accurate typing skills Benefits: Competitive pay (DOE) Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 401k with employer match Paid time off & holidays

* Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height. * Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies. * Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records. * Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients. * Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. * Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician. * Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures. * Schedule appointments for patients. * Greet and log in patients arriving at office or clinic.
